I recently scheduled a technician (Juan) to perform HVAC maintenance at my condo. This was my first experience with McDaniel Service and it was excellent. Juan arrived on time and on the earlier side of the 3 hour window I was provided at the time of scheduling. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and patient as he explained what he was seeing in my HVAC unit. I was informed of what would need replacement in the near future and was not upsold on unnecessary work. As a first-time home owner, I appreciated this! I also appreciated the reminder and arrival texts to my phone. Definitely recommend McDaniel (and Juan!). I will be a returning customer for future condo maintenance needs.
Daniel Hopkins did an excellent job replacing (again) the heat pump's compressor and testing the system. Everything appears to be working as designed. I have great faith in McDaniel Service, Inc and recommend you to all my friends.
Daniel and Tim did an excellent job of both removing and then reinstalling the HVAC and water heater needed to allow the restoration of the HVAC closet drywall.

They diagnosed the problem efficiently, completed the repair properly, and left the area clean. Their pricing was fair, and the quality of their work was outstanding. Installers were great; professional, friendly and careful about everything on site, making sure work was done well and everything was returned to how it was when they arrived. Price was a bit high for the work involved, but they were available ASAP once the unit being installed was on hand and provided a discount for a delay in delivery. All in all a good experience with McDaniel.
Everyone at McDaniel Service was trustworthy and took the time to answer my questions and provide me with recommendations. It's nice to know you have someone to go to for maintenance and any repair work you might need. Appreciate their expertise and honesty.
I contacted McDaniel Service on a Sunday after my air conditioning stopped working, and from the very first phone call, their customer service was outstanding.
The dispatcher was professional, courteous, and kept me informed throughout the process. The on-call technician, David, arrived as promised, took the time to thoroughly diagnose the problem, and clearly explained what had failed. David never tried to pressure me into unnecessary repairs and answered all my questions with patience and professionalism.
Although the replacement part wasn't available on his truck because my system has a variable-speed blower motor, he immediately began working to locate the correct part and obtain pricing. He even arranged to bring me a portable air conditioner so my 95-year-old dad, who is in hospice, would have a cool place to sleep while we wait for the repair. That level of customer care meant a great deal to me.
While I'm still waiting for the final repair, I wanted to recognize the exceptional customer service I've received so far. Based on my experience to this point, I would not hesitate to recommend McDaniel Service. Their professionalism, communication, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond have been outstanding.
Washington Gas came out to replace gas lines and when they came back to turn back on the gas line they found leaks. We called McDaniel and they came out quickly, did the job well and apologized for an unexpected delay. Chris Johnson was our tech and he was very professional and kind. We will definitely use them in the future.
